Welcome to ITFC. This list is for discussion of Ipswich Town Football Club, The Pride of East Anglia!

All list members are expected to familiarise themselves with the general list rules and ettiquette below.

Discussions usually centre around current matches and players, reminiscences of the club's proud history and thoughts for it's future - and even occasional descriptions of grit-burgers. General discussion of Ipswich is also well received by those people forced to live elsewhere.

Email sent to the list is unmoderated, but only people subscribed to the list may post.

There are both live and digest versions of the list.
Subscribers to the live list receive individual emails as they are sent.
People on the digest list receive an accumulated batch of posts (viz. a digest) at regular intervals.

BOUNCED MAIL - It is good manners not to bounce mail or send "out off office" replies to email lists.  Please ensure that you exclude this (and any other) list from nuisance postings.

Please do not ever post any of the following: chain letters, advertisements, virus warnings, pictures or other attachments.  However well intentioned, these are considered a nuisance on email lists and most "virus warning"  are often hoaxes.  The list administrator will send any necessary warnings when required.

Where possible, please send emails in "Plaint Text" - not everyone uses the same operating system and hardware, and Plain Text is readable by everyone.

When replying to a post, please DO NOT quote the post in it's entirety.  Where necessary, just quote the bit you're replying to, with your reply underneath that. 

Please observe general nettiquete rules.

The list owner is not responsible for any views stated by members of the list, and has the right to remove anyone from the list.
